Enrollment and Scheduling
The admissions policy of Aldea Montessori is based on the educational concepts of Dr. Maria Montessori. We strive to serve a broad range of socioeconomic, religious, cultural, racial and ability groups. In keeping with our philosophy of serving the best interest of the children, all admissions are on a trial basis with specific trial periods and evaluation procedures established as needed. Contact us for more information about enrolling your child.
Tuition and Fees for the 2010-2011 school year are determined by program and payment plan.
Classroom hours vary by program as follows:
Toddler House Hours Toddler House students attend two, three, four or five days per week from 8:45 until 11:45 a.m. A child may begin at two days and gradually move to more days at the pace best suited for the child and family. Which two or three days the child attends is flexible, again based on family needs. The goal is to eventually have your child attending five days a week for consistency. No extended care is available for Toddlers.
Casa Hours All students in the Casa program attend school five days per week, starting at 8:30am. Children under the age of five are dismissed at noon, while those five and older complete the day at 3:00pm.
Elementary Hours The Elementary students begin their day at 8:00 a.m. and finish at 3:00 p.m.
Extended care is available from 7:30 am until 8:15 a.m. and from 12 p.m until 5:30pm for students in the primary or elementary programs. There is an additional fee for extended care, which is billed at the end of the month.
