How did you learn about Montessori? - I heard about it before I started at Aldea, but learned more when I started at Aldea.

What do you love about Montessori?- The process of watching the children learn to be independent, academically and socially. I also love the child initiated learning.

3 things you can’t live without?- Family, a good book, and the beach! (Don’t forget the sunscreen)

Favorite trip ever taken?- My children and I went to visit my brother in Puerto Rico, and loved every minute of it. From the castles in San Juan to the El Yunke rainforest. We visited four different beaches, and Gilligan’s Island was my favorite! (No, this is not where they filmed Gilligan’s Island.)

Favorite local place?- Angry Crab Shack, Wildflower Bread Company, and Olive Garden for their breadsticks!

Any other schooling, degrees, or training?- Studied early childhood at ASU, certified dental assistant and radiation health/safety, and Montessori assistant training.
